there is an almost perfect progression between the distances of the planets, because while one is in formation, the others are moving away by the thermal radiation of the sun.
being that there is a greater difference between Mars and Jupiter for two reasons:
1] by mass and diameter of Jupiter.
2] and by the asteroid formation that exists between the two planets. that is, the asteroid belt would be almost like a planet, and that it [the belt] lies exactly between the two.
